My DNA test with Ancestry connects me closely to the Wright family of Suffolk, and I have put a comprehensive family tree together of my family with the help of an Australian close match. I am descended from Joseph Wright born 1806. Liked your site too. My Wright ancestry suggests ancient Norwegian roots.... Sam

Thomas; If you are related to Margaret through her WRIGHT families we are urgently requiring a Y DNA sample to confirm the origins of this line. Would you be interested in getting one at my expense? You can get in touch privately with me via my e-mail on my site home page.

Great website. My mother was Kathleen Wright, her father was Newell Wright. Newell's father Alma Richard Wright founded a hardware store in Port Burwell, Ontario, Canada. Newell continued to own/operate it into the 1970s. The structure remains in Port Burwell, in poor condition and is currently for sale. There is a stain glass window with AR Wright Hardware inside the structure. I discovered that just this summer (July 2018) Current owner refused to sell window.

If you are a male surnamed Wright and you know your Y-DNA haploid is E, I would be most interested in talking with you about upgrading your testing if possible and your family research.

I am a descendant of the John Wrights of Kelvedon Hall in Kelvedon Hatch, co. Essex and a cousin of the descendants of Robert Wright of The Mary Green Manor in Brentwood, Essex. I am looking for Wright surnamed males whose family origins in the 1800s was London/Middlesex, Ilford, Romford, Navestock Brentwood, Chelmsford areas of Essex. I am interested in helping such persons obtain Family Tree DNA - Y-DNA testing results on themselves as a means of setting up a DNA database for men of my lineage for this East Anglia website.

Thanks to the person/people who have made this web site. My great grand dad was Jonathon Raymond Wright , He descended from Henry Wright and Tabitha Myzon . Jonathon was born in 1867 at Gazeley Suffolk. He came to Australia and had 8 kids and fought in 3 wars . Passed away at Texas Queensland in 1957 aged 91.
I have seen the name Myzon spelt Myzen and Mison . Must have been changed over the years
